Includes your 1040, one state return (if needed), and a fall check-in, nuisance notice resolution, tax transcript monitoring, and year-round access. If you have more than one of these layers — say, a rental and a Schedule C — you're likely a Tier 2.

The Complex

For households with multiple layers — for example, W-2 income with two to four rentals, or self-employment as primary income with investment activity, or multi-state filings, or a K-1 alongside other complexities. Same inclusions as Tier 1: the return(s), the fall check-in, nuisance notice resolution, tax transcript monitoring, and year-round access. Tier 2 tops out at four rentals, a handful of K-1s where basis is clear, and filings in up to three states. Past that — five or more rentals, a dozen K-1s, oil-and-gas working interests with basis or at-risk limitations, or four or more state returns — the work moves to a Bespoke quote.
